The School Day
Arrival at School in the morning
There is access to the school from 8:40am and children are expected to be in class at 8:55am, a variety of activities or Early Morning Work is provided for the children to complete during this time.
Children arriving after 9:00am are late to school. Parents of children arriving after this time need to sign the electronic register in the school foyer, giving the reason for why they are late.
Please make every effort to get your child to school on time – thank you.
Collection from School in the afternoon
School finishes for children in Reception and Key Stage 1 at 3:20pm and 3:25pm for children in Key Stage 2. Children are collected from their classrooms from the school playground, which can be accessed using the front gate near the Year 6 classrooms or the back gate near Dykewood Close.
Children who are not collected from school by 3:30pm will be taken to the Extended Schools’ Club (in the school hall) for collection by parents. A charge will be made for supervising children.
Pupils in Key EYFS/Key Stage One complete 33 hours and 20 minutes in a typical week.
Pupils in Key Stage Two complete 33 hours and 45 minutes in a typical week.
